Join the With Youth, For Youth (WYFY) Southeast Michigan Initiative

The Michigan Afterschool Partnership is recruiting the second cohort of youth ages 14-18 to serve the purpose of supporting out-of-school time and youth sports programs that incorporate youth voice and decision-making. The With Youth For Youth initiative will serve as a model for youth power inclusion, youth-led systems change, and community impact across the southeast Michigan region.

 

Statewide Quality Coach

MASP is seeking to fill 2 positions for the Statewide Quality Coach role.

Do you have relationship building, coaching and data management skills and experience supporting out-of-school time programs? We're seeking a Statewide Quality Coach to help strengthen Michigan’s 32n OST Grant Programs through technical assistance, professional development and continuous quality improvement cycles.

Position Summary

Statewide Quality Coaches ensures that MASP supports the 32n OST grantees in advancing program quality and continuous improvement efforts. This role will work directly with multiple youth serving organizations. They will act as each organization guide on the side through the school year and summer. Coaching will consist of building strong relationships with OST programs/partners and supporting them in meeting their internally created program goals based on observational data.

This is a remote position, with travel and in-person meetings required. This role is funded through a grant and is dependent on annual grant allocations.

Salary: $55,000-$60,000

 MIYDA Coordinator

Do you have coaching, data management skills and experience supporting the OST workforce? We're seeking a MIYDA Coordinator to help strengthen Michigan’s OST Workforce through technical assistance, professional learning cohorts, and advancing the awareness of MIYDA.

This is a remote position, with travel and in-person meetings required. This role is funded through a grant and is dependent on annual grant allocations.

Position Summary

The MIYDA (Michigan Youth Development Associate) Coordinator supports MASP’s efforts increase the awareness of the Michigan Youth Development Associate Certificate and Credential and to provide facilitation, guidance and technical assistance to those pursuing the certificate and or credential. This role will support the administration and technical assistance of the MIYDA program. Increasing awareness, recruiting, attending events, and working alongside partners to develop cohorts and pathways to advance the OST Workforce.

This is a remote position, with travel and in-person meetings required. This role is funded through a grant and is dependent on annual grant allocations.

Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Out-of-School Time (OST) Grant Analyst

Do you have strong data skills and experience supporting out-of-school time programs? We're seeking an Out-of-School Time (OST) Grant Analyst to help strengthen Michigan’s 32n OST Grants Program through data system support, grantee assistance, and effective program monitoring.

Position Summary

The Out-of-School Time (OST) Grants Program Analyst will serve as a contractor

reporting daily to the OST Manager to support the MiLEAP OST Grants Team detailed to the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP), who are responsible for administrative implementation of the OST Grants Program funded under the State School Aid Act, Section 32n.

This position helps to implement grant competitions that meet state and federal laws and regulations and works alongside other OST Grant team members and with other MiLEAP staff to ensure department grant systems are effectively usable and functional for the field.

This is a remote position, with some travel and in-person meetings required. This role is funded through a grant and is dependent on annual grant allocations.

Salary: $60,000-$65,000

Job Title:  Education Consultant 12-P13

Brief Position Description: The function and purpose of this 21st CCLC position are to provide leadership and direction in the development of regulations, rules, procedures, and policies as they relate to 21st CCLC Programs grants and supports for the families of enrolled students. A primary responsibility is the management of state and/or federal funding for major grant programs. The 21st CCLC Education Consultant works with local school districts, and other community-based agencies, on program development, implementation, and evaluation.
