How legislative visits tend to go: a video tutorial
Meeting with a legislator can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. In this video, we demonstrate both an ideal meeting and a more realistic version to help you feel prepared for whatever comes your way on Capitol Day. You’ll see how to share your story, stay focused on key messages, and make the most of limited time. Out-of-school time programs are essential infrastructure for young people, families, and communities. Your voice helps ensure decision-makers understand that impact.
