2026 MAC Leadership Summit

Grounded and Growing: Rooted in Purpose

October 9, 2026
Riverfront Conference Center
Flint, Michigan
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Join out-of-school time professionals, youth leaders, partners, and advocates from across Michigan for the 2026 MAC Leadership Summit.

This year’s theme, Grounded and Growing: Rooted in Purpose, recognizes that meaningful growth begins with a strong foundation. Together, we’ll reconnect with our purpose, strengthen our leadership, and cultivate the relationships, strategies, and innovation needed to help our organizations, programs, communities, and young people thrive.

The MAC Leadership Summit brings together leaders from across Michigan’s out-of-school time field for a day of learning, connection, reflection, and collaboration. Whether you lead a program, support staff, work alongside young people, build community partnerships, or help shape the systems surrounding OST, the Summit is an opportunity to strengthen your practice and grow alongside colleagues from across the state.

Why We Collect Demographic Information

As part of event registration, we collect demographic information to help ensure the MAC Leadership Summit is reaching a diverse audience and advancing equity in our programming.

Understanding who participates helps us assess whether we are effectively engaging communities across Michigan, particularly those that have historically been underrepresented. It also helps us measure our progress toward creating inclusive and accessible events that serve participants across backgrounds, communities, and regions.

Demographic information will not be connected to individual participants and will only be reported in aggregate.

Presented In Partnership

The MAC Leadership Summit is co-sponsored by the Michigan Afterschool Partnership (MASP) and the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) Office of Education Partnerships, including 21st Century Community Learning Centers and 32n Grants, in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
